City Election Information

April 2, 2019 Regular Municipal Election

The next regular City Council election is April 2, 2019. There will be four (4) seats available for election, all will serve a four (4) year term:
  • Ward 1
  • Ward 3
  • Ward 4
  • At-large seat 
Qualifications for City Council Seat (Must have all):
  • Citizen of the United States
  • At least 18 years of age
  • A registered elector within the City and shall have resided in the City for one year immediately preceding the election
  • A registered voter of the City of Glenwood Springs
Nomination petitions will be available beginning Friday, December 1, 2019 and can be picked up from the City Clerks Office at City Hall, 101 W. 8th Street, Suite 325.
