Christmas Tree Drop Off Available Through January 31, 2021

Christmas Tree drop-off is available from December 28 through January 31, 2021 at the old Rodeo grounds off of Airport Road. Residents are asked to remove all decorations and lights. Please do not dump trash or other debris at this site.

UPDATE: Crane operations for rockfall mitigation begin on South Midland Reconstruction Project

*UPDATE, 12:45 PM, 1/8/21 – Crews will likely be working on South Midland with a lane closure after 3 PM today due to utility work. Please plan extra travel time with the extended lane closure and weekend/event traffic.

Glenwood Springs Expands Downtown Outdoor Dining and Alcoholic Beverage Area

Restaurant patrons starting Friday will be able to consume to-go alcohol beverages in a designated warming area under the Grand Avenue Bridge. This is intended to provide an area where people can take to-go beverages and food from the restaurants.
